I had a great experience at The Dermatologist. This is how a dermatologist exam should be and it was absolutely perfect!
— Patient JC

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the dermatology practice of Dr. Komal Stoerr specializing in her passion of general dermatology and skin cancer screenings.  After sixteen years of practicing conventional dermatology, we are pleased to offer a new approach to your skin health allowing for extended visits to provide you with comprehensive dermatology care.

We realize that as a patient it is often difficult to anticipate if and when a procedure will be necessary.  Our office visits are scheduled to allow significant time for a very thorough examination to evaluate your concerns and also perform any medically necessary biopsies/treatment at the time of your visit.   It is our hope that through this approach, we may fully address your concerns and also save you time by decreasing your visits throughout the year.

We also hope our upfront and transparent pricing will allow you to understand charges prior to your visit.  Our appointments are comprehensive and no additional charges will added to the charges listed below:

pricing:

New Patient General Dermatology Visit                                                  $169.00

Follow-up General Dermatology Visit                                                     $129.00

New Patient General Visit with a medically necessary procedure           $229.00

Procedure Based Office Visit (excludes Botox or fillers/chemical peels)     $210.00

Comprehensive Full Body Skin Evaluation                                               $259.00

*Comprehensive Full Body Skin Evaluation with procedures                 $379.00

to $429.00

Surgical Excision of benign or malignant lesion                                      $389.00

to $450.00

*Comprehensive exam pricing includes a detailed charting of nevi, up to four medically necessary biopsies and liquid nitrogen treatment for precancerous lesions.  Most patients typically require one comprehensive exam yearly, high risk patients are evaluated biannually and the care of those with recent melanomas are discussed at the time of diagnosis.

A biopsy or excision of a lesion does require a pathologist to review the specimen.  We will send your specimen to a qualified dermatopathologist whom we trust.  The third party (dermatopathologist) will bill you separately only if your insurance plan requires a deductible which you have not met.

Payment in full is required at the time of service. Services provided are typically covered under your insurance and, although we are not directly contracted with your insurance company, we are happy to assist you with all necessary documentation to submit for reimbursement. If you have a deductible, our office visit applies towards your out-of-network deductible. For patients with Health Savings Accounts (HSA), our services are qualified medical expenses for HSA accounts.

We thank you for trusting your skin to our care. We are looking forward to your healthy visit!
